Sheila D. James is the Pastor and Founder of Shield of Faith Worldwide Deliverance Ministries in Jersey City, NJ. Sheila gave her life to the Lord at the age of 13. However, she did not make a commitment to the Lord until 1995. Her overseer is Apostle Randy L. Alston of The Word of Life World Wide Outreach Ministries located in Newark, NJ. In 2003, the Lord sent a word to Pastor Sheila telling her that He can trust her with His people. Since then, God has sent her to establish a Bible Teaching Ministry called Strength for the Journey at Hudson County Community College, where she is an employee and former graduate. Pastor James has an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education and is currently a full-time student at New Jersey City University in Jersey City, NJ where she is pursuing her B.A. in Special Education/Teacher of Handicap Certification. In addition, Pastor Sheila James operates in the five-fold ministry gifts. She is a powerful prayer warrior aka "The Tomahawk In The Spirit", tearing down the strongholds of the devil. She believes that the kingdom suffereth violence and the violent take it by force. She is the only one of her eight siblings serving the Lord, so she continues to labor for the deliverance of her family members. Pastor Sheila is a devoted mother of five children. She has also raised three of her nephews, two of which she has legal custody of. Pastor James has a community outreach ministry where she distributes clothing, food and the Word of God to people in the community. |
