Apostle Randy L. Alston’s ministry began in the year of 1980. He was ordained in 1981 in Newark, New Jersey as an Elder under the leadership of the late Bishop Curtis D. Gilmore. Dr. Apostle Alston then served as an Associate Pastor of St. Paul’s Unified Freewill Baptist Church until 1987. In 1988, Apostle Alston was ordained as an Evangelist while serving as an Associate Pastor at Positive Proof Ministries under Pastor Frank Garris.

Dr. Apostle Alston was ordained as an Apostle in July 2004. Apostle Alston serves as full-time Pastor of The Word of Life Worldwide Outreach Ministries operating in all of the five fold ministry gifts of DELIVERANCE!

 During all of his years of walking as an Evangelist, Elder and Associate Pastor, Dr. Apostle Alston learned Hebrew and Greek and did an extensive study on the books of Daniel and Revelation. Apostle Alston has also had the blessed opportunity to sit under Pastor Jason Alvarez and Pastor’s Clinton and Sarah Utterbach to help grow him into new spiritual levels.

 In 1995, Apostle Alston began attending The Bible Training School at Provision of Promise Ministries under Apostle Ernest Leonard. It was also during that time, while serving as Chaplain and an Officer for the Newark Police Department for 14 years, that Apostle Alston was called into full-time ministry. God said, “I’ve got a work for YOU!”
 
 Although Apostle Alston entered into full-time ministry in 1995, God was giving the vision for the ministry early in his walk. On October 5, 1997 he advanced to the School Of the Apostles at Provision of Promise Ministries where he received his Associate’s Degree in 1998. It was during this time that Apostle Alston took a large leap of faith in understanding spiritual warfare.

Dr. Apostle Alston now serves as Chaplain for the Henderson Institute Alumni Association located in Henderson, North Carolina. He also serves as a chaplain and Counselor for the Grandparents Support Group.

 Dr. Apostle Alston resides in Newark, New Jersey with his wife Alice and their children.
